When planning the 1st Annual SBDC Conference, our team focused on bringing experts in the field to the small businesses of Montana. Kitch Walker embodies just that for everything related to marketing. Kitch’s extensive knowledge, experience and ability to present concepts in manageable bits for use by the attendees is the best I’ve seen. There is always laughter and the desire for more, each and every time Kitch performs. We were delighted and honored to host Kitch at the Invest in Success Conference.

  2. Kitch’s presentation confirmed a few things I’d learned the hard way about advertising. Most notably “Don’t advertise where you market is NOT”. Since the conference, I’ve had two “campaigns” that have just about paid for them selves as well as create quite a bit of chatter about The Back Yard Baker.

The most successful venue for my bakery has turned out to be the GF Tribune. The ads seem to have been timely and created the curiosity needed to bring customers to my shop.

Mark, it’s good to hear that the seminar had a positive effect on you and your business, including re-confirming some of the core principals of advertising and media buying. Sometimes as a small business owners we get distracted, lured and even convinced to make poor choices in our advertising – mostly due to our anxious pursuit of success. Sometimes it’s the basics that keep us focused and generate the greatest results. Nice job and congrats on your recent success using advertising in the newspaper to help your business. I wish you the best and look forward to hearing more about your endeavors in the future.
